Tabata is a very effective and demanding method of interval training that increases physical fitness and strength at the same time – both aerobic fitness and dynamics are enhanced. One exercise for a certain muscle group consists of eight sets. Timing is important. Each set is exercised for 20 seconds, followed by a 10-second rest. Maximum intensity exercise for a short time is more effective than low-intensity exercise for a longer time.
