Focus: Zumba is a modern dynamic fitness program that combines elements of aerobic exercise and Latin American dances. It uses the basic steps of salsa, reggaeton, merengue and cumbie (other elements such as belly dancing and tango will be included in more advanced lessons). Zumba is based on the principle of intermittent cardio training, where the fast part alternates with the slow one, and this combination leads to efficient fat burning and formation of the whole body.

Content: Introduction to basic dance elements and subsequent acquisition of step sequences and simple choreographies at the dynamic pace with music, under the guidance of an instructor.

The activity will take place in the large gym A1 in the Sports Center premises, Jana Babáka 5, Brno. Bring solid gym shoes, sportswear, a towel and a water bottle.
