Nordic walking
The goal of the activity is to develop and improve physical and mental fitness with the help of nordic walking poles. Walking is the most natural movement; when using poles, you effectively develop coordination abilities, strengthen upper body muscles and most of all, increase aerobic capacity of lungs and blood circulation and boost metabolism. The goal is to learn the correct posture, the right mode of walking both with poles and without them, and to learn the basic techniques of nordic walking. The activity is suitable for all fans of outdoor sports at various fitness levels. Good walking shoes and outdoor wear are necessary. Poles may be lent to you.
Content: Basics of nordic walking in light terrain, exploring Brno surroundings.
This activity will be organized in 9 weeks 1.5 hours each lesson instead of the usual 12 lessons / 60 minutes per semester. The students will be informed about all the starting places before the first lesson. We will mostly walk in the woody areas north of Brno.
